About Us

Scarlett & Sutherland was founded by Karina Scarlett and Starr Sutherland with a mission to create a professional, personal lifestyle and property concierge business with attention to detail and customized service. Karina is a Carmel Valley native and Starr was born and raised in Hawai’i, and recently moved back to the Valley after living here for a short time prior. With a background in massage for over 20 years and an entrepreneurial spirit, Karina has built a strong network of clients and vendors. Starr’s passion in business and luxury real estate in Hawai'i gave her a strong insight and knowledge in the industry and they knew together they make a strong team. Karina and Starr both share a love for networking with other women and individuals and have developed many local connections over the years.

Both with young families and limited time, they realized a growing need for a lifestyle concierge here on the Peninsula. Wouldn’t it be great to reduce the amount of stress and/or daily work load so that you could spend more quality time with your family or doing what you enjoy most? Thus, the seed was planted and they are excited to offer a unique service that they are certain will benefit many. 

Karina and Starr’s combined passion for fabulous cuisines, travel, shopping and experiences has contributed to broadening their knowledge, and thus allowing them to make the best recommendations and/or choices for our clients.
